This event is an invitation to learn more and share these “pearls” of resilience—not to downplay the ordeal, but to show that beauty and hope can still find a place in the midst of adversity.
On the morning’s agenda: exhibits by the League Against Cancer, the “Paths of Silence” photography exhibition, drawings, information on prevention and screening with healthcare professionals and organizations, donations of heart-shaped pillows created by local sewing workshops, and a presentation of activities offered by organizations to people living with the disease.
