La Maison Carrée presents the exhibition “Drawing, Traveling,” dedicated to the art of the travel sketchbook. On this occasion, three artists have been invited to share their work: Philippe Bichon, Nathalie Duroussy, and Ségolène Girard.

This exhibition offers a journey through drawings, whether they explore distant lands or offer a glimpse of the local landscape. These graphic works capture architecture, landscapes, and daily life on the spot, as well as stories and testimonies interwoven with notes from people encountered along the way.

Beyond its aesthetic dimension, “Drawing, Traveling” highlights the travel journal as a tool for memory—the medium through which the artist reveals his encounters to us.
