As part of MES BIARNÉS:
6pm: discovery of Pyrenean instruments and Spanish inn
8pm: Trad dance with COBLETA

In 2023, in the image of the Catalan coblas, the Cobla Pirenenca was born: an instrumental ensemble of some twenty musicians, with flutes, tambourines, violins, oboes, cellos and percussion. Their music is based on reciprocal and polyphonic interplay, derived from traditional folk practices and accompanying polyphonic singing. Cobleta is a scaled-down version of the Cobla, with three members, for a traditional ball. We propose a ball with a revisited trad repertoire and new creations.

Antoine Monbeig: cello
Jean Marc Lempegnat: fiddles, vocals
Cécile Nunez: flabutas and string tambourines
