In 2023, in the image of the Catalan coblas, the Cobla Pirenenca was born: an instrumental ensemble of some twenty musicians, with flutes, tambourines, violins, oboes, cellos and percussion. Their music is based on reciprocal and polyphonic interplay, derived from traditional folk practices and accompanying polyphonic singing.
Cobleta is a reduced model of the Cobla, with five members, for the concert formula. We offer a concert of popular and sacred songs from the Béarn tradition, accompanied by the instruments of
