General description :
A key figure in Pyrenean mountaineering, Patrice de Bellefon was one of the first high-mountain guides to offer expeditions to remote massifs. He created Gypaaile, the first brand of paragliders in the Pyrenees. He was behind the inclusion of the Mont Perdu massif on UNESCO?s World Heritage List. Patrice de Bellefon has never shied away from the conquering sport of his youth, but has gradually shifted his focus to the people and valleys of the Pyrenees. His philosophical reflections, his critical spirit and his ecologist sensibility led him to modify his relationship with the high mountains. This film retraces the journey of this mountaineer and "standing wind" who, at 87, continues to protest, write, publish, paint and climb with an incredible zest for life.
