Established in 1302, the ancient fortified town of Nay quickly extended outside the scope defined by its central place, its regular flocks of houses and its outer wall. The growth of these suburbs was fed particularly by the development of the economic and industrial activities: these become omnipresent when the Industrial revolution started in the XIXth century. This walk goes through these labor suburbs among which the numerous workshops made of Nay a reference in term of local industrial city.
