For its summer season, the Maison Carrée de Nay presents a series of photographs by the famous photographer Jean Dieuzaide, dedicated to industry.
The war was over, and a new wind of modernity blew across France. From Toulouse, the photographer Jean Dieuzaide, as an enlightened observer, documented the great transformations of his era.
More than 60 original photographic prints provide a first-rate record of the profound transformations of an era: the post-war economic boom, the advent of technological modernity, and the transition from rural France to an industrialized society, as seen in the photographic series of the Nay factories.
