These bilingual (French/Portuguese) musical readings, accompanied by watercolors projected onto a large screen, are the stage adaptation of the book *Le Chant du Capricorne*, an illustrated book and CD set published in 2025 by Partis Pour, created by Nicolas Martin-Sagarra, a musician and poet, and his son Hector, an illustrator.

Poetry, watercolors, and music set the nostalgic and emotional tone for these “Mozambican stopovers,” true love songs to a country they explored over the course of three years (2012–2015).

In this %E9stonishing travel journal, born of the long passage of memory and lulled by the intoxicating presence of music (with the inspired collaboration of Olivier Kl%E9ber-Lavigne), the author also lets his love for the Portuguese language and poetic translation wander freely, with “saudade” slung over his shoulder.
