Le Plateau de l'Isarce

This circuit in the countryside around the village of Asson in the Pays de Nay takes you up the hillside in a steady climb so you can enjoy a beautiful clear view of the lowland and the first foothills of the Hautes-Pyrénées. It’s worth making some effort. This beautiful and intensive route, after taking you about two-thirds of the way into the forest, will lead you to a beautiful beech wood and the cabin of l’Isarce.

comment venir From the center of Nay pass the bridge over the Gave and follow the D936 towards Bénéjacq. At the roundabout follow the D937 towards Lourdes. At the exit of Lestelle, take the small road on the right which passes in front of the sanctuary. Turn right and go up the cross of the heights. Pass the cross in a left turn. Follow the D226 for about 2,5km. After a descent at the junction, take straight on Cot de Belloc. At the bottom of the descent park on the right.
